The HAHP Story
HAHP – Have a Happy Period, is a venture of Kirthi Agencies and Varuna Vastras. Kirthi agencies is the concern that deals with fancy yarns, cotton yarns and fancy fabrics for more than three decades.
In India, about 355 million women are generating so much of plastic waste that takes about 500-800 years to decompose.More research works were done on finding out a perfect product that can be used more comfortably by menstruating women of all age groups. We had various considerations including better hygiene, sustainability, eco-friendliness, cost-effectiveness, and so on.All these factors were considered in designing HAHP period panties. Above all, we know the importance of a Woman in the family and in the society. After developing the concept into product, trials were taken with dears and nears and the final product evolved by incorporating all the feedbacks. Soon, we are planning to launch a 100% vegan version of HAHP period panty with cent percent bio-degradability. HAVE A HAPPY PERIOD!!!
The study made by a non-profit organization namely WaterAid India, states that about 21780 million pads are disposed annually by 121 million females in India. This shows that a female uses approximately 15 pads per menstrual cycle.
